The Ninebot eKickScooter ZING E8 powered by Segway is one of the first kick scooters developed by Segway especially for young people. In fact, extra attention has been paid to safety features.
The kick scooter can reach a maximum speed of 14 km/h (8.7mph) and with a battery life of up to 40 minutes the scooter offers a range of 10 km. The Ninebot eKickScooter ZING E8 is extremely light (7.9 kg) and can be folded quickly, without using your hands. The battery is placed in the footboard, this keeps the centre of gravity low and makes the eKickScooter very easy to handle.In addition, non-slip material has been used for the footboard and tyres for a steady driving experience. The solid tyres and the shock absorber with 40 mm spring at the front, together with the cruise control, ensure an enjoyable ride. There are three different driving modes. The safe mode is designed to assist learning to drive and ensure safety by limiting the maximum speed to 10 km/h (6.2 mph). In cruise mode you don’t have to accelerate (simply kick start and go) and in turbo mode you don’t have to kickstart.In addition, the eKickScooter E8 is equipped with three independent brakes, a hand, a foot and a regenerative brake, so you are always assured of a safe braking distance. The ambient lighting is placed under the footboard and can easily be adjusted via the Segway-Ninebot app. The eKickScooter ZING E8 can be fully charged in four hours and the Smart Battery Management System (BMS) ensures that no electricity is lost and accurately monitors battery performance to prevent critical problems such as overload, discharge, overheating, short-circuiting, etc.
